The idea of the game is that you are dispatched into this vast open environment with the mandate to use all means necessary to eliminate Charles, a horrific spider train. There are many side tasks to complete in order to gather scrap that can be used to enhance your train. Other tasks include looking for weapon parts so you may equip your train with new weaponry to aid in the main battle.
The gameplay cycle is quite compelling. The experience of taking a train around the world never gets old, and the knowledge that Charles could suddenly attack is horrifying. The use of sound to indicate his approach also adds to the tension. Playing this eerie game is enjoyable!
One of the more well-made horror games I’ve played this year is unquestionably this one. I had no problems with bugs or anything. Such a wonderful, compelling experience. Well done, developers! highly suggestible
